Scandinavian Currencies Varied On Thursday, Thursday, May 03, 2007 11:49:58 AM

Scandinavian currencies were mostly weak against the dollar and mixed against the euro on Thursday. The currencies moved with little economic news from the area.

The Swedish krona fell to 6.7383 against the dollar in trading on Thursday. The currency is at a weekly low against the buck. In trading with the euro, the krona bounced between a high of 9.1282 and a low of 9.1538. Generally, the currency is at a month and a half high.

The Danish krone slipped to 5.4952 against the buck in mid day action on Thursday. The currency is at a two week low against the buck. In trading against the euro, the krone held between a high of 7.4475 and a low of 7.4528. Overall, the Danish currency is near a weekly low.

The Norwegian currency dropped agaisnt the dollar to a mark of 5.9858 in trading on Thursday. Overall, the krone is at a two week low. Against the euro, the currency rose to a mark of 8.1143 by the mid-day. Generally, the currency is at a weekly high.
