Great Britain will dominate news from Europe on Wednesday, as it reports on its Claimant Count and Jobless Claims Change among a flurry of news. The Euro zone will also see speeches from the ECB`s Trichet and Liikanen. Other news from the area will include German wholesale price index data and Italian and French CPI numbers.

Great Britain will report on its Claimant Count rate for May on Wednesday, as well as its Jobless Claims Change. The claimant count rate came in at 2.8% in the previous month, and is anticipated to remain the same in tomorrow`s data. The jobless numbers showed -15.7k in the previous period, and is expected to narrow for May. Other news from the UK will include the average earnings, both including and excluding bonuses, as well as ILO unemployment rate and manufacturing unit wage costs. Late in the day, the UK will also report on its Leading Indicator & Co-indicator indices and the RICS House Price Balance for May.

The ECB`s Trichet will speak in Berlin on Wednesday. Other news from the Euro zone will include the ECB`s Council Member Liikanen`s news conference early in the day. Euro zone employment data for the first quarter will also be released.
