Economic Preview: Very Little Economic Information Due Out Tuesday, Monday, June 11, 2007 3:45:41 PM

There is very little economic information set to be released on Tuesday. This will give the market time to anticipate major reports set to be announced later in the week.

The biggest focus for the market will be the inflation statistics set to be announced on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, the government will announce its producer price index for May. This will be followed up on Friday with the consumer price index.

A couple other important reports are set to come out on Wednesday. During the morning, the government will announce monthly retail sales data. In the afternoon, the Federal Reserve will release its Beige Book, a compilation of anecdotal economic information that will provide a glimpse at what the central bank is looking at going into its next monetary policy meeting.
