The Swiss franc was choppy against the dollar in trading. The currency moved between a high of 1.2168 and a low of 1.2205 into the afternoon. On the whole, the Swiss currency is near a weekly high versus the buck.
In trading with the pound, the Swiss currency saw little direction. By the mid-afternoon, the currency moved between a high of 2.4124 and a low of 2.4197. In general, the Swiss franc is at a two week high.
Against the euro, the Swiss franc experienced weakness. The fall took the currency to a mark of 1.6512 in the early hours and remained there into the mid-afternoon trading. Overall, the Swiss currency is at a two week low.
Meanwhile, the Swiss franc saw mixed direction against its Japanese counterpart. As trading moved into the mid-afternoon, the currency held between a low of 98.53 and a high of 98.78. Generally, the currency is at a weekly high against the yen.
